In an effort to increase online awareness about entrepreneur poster careers, Yahoo is hosting a Craigslist event for new posters.
The event will be held from February 11 through January 20.
Yahoo says the goal is to provide posters with a platform to share their work and build awareness about their careers.
“Our poster community has a huge passion for creativity, and they want to be heard by their peers,” said Adam Kranz, senior vice president of Yahoo Product Marketing.
“The event is designed to give them that opportunity.
We want them to connect with their peers, and we want them see our posters and ask for their support.”
This year, Yahoo says it will also offer free posters to advertisers, sponsors and individuals that post their resume on the site.
Participants can also submit resumes to other posters on the platform.
Included in the poster program is the opportunity to be featured on Yahoo’s homepage and Yahoo.com.
The program runs from Feb. 7 to Feb. 16, with posters invited to submit resumes by March 1.
Participants are eligible for free posters on Yahoo.ca, Yahoo.co.uk, Yahoo-branded and Yahoo-affiliated sites.
In addition, Yahoo’s AdWords marketplace will feature posters who have posted their resumes.
The program is a partnership between Yahoo and Yahoo!
Brands, Inc. (YBA).
Yahoo says Yahoo has a “great track record” of supporting entrepreneurial posters and its poster program helps them find a market that suits their unique needs.
Yahoo is the first major brand to partner with Yahoo!
Brand, which also hosts the Yahoo-owned site AdWords.
