Mike Molarkey, Tennessee Titans head coach, said the team has a strong youth movement in the locker room.
Mularkey spoke at the 2017 NFL Media Day, hosted by NFL Media and NFL Network.
“The importance of youth to our team is something we really believe in,” Mularkeys stated.
“We want to be able to recruit and develop young talent, and we know that’s something we’re going to have to do in the future.”
Mulkey also spoke about the team’s plans for recruiting talent.
It is important that we make sure that we’re not missing on talent that we want to develop in our program, which is an incredible opportunity for young people, he said.
Players that come in are going to make our program better, and they’re going for a degree in the area that they’re passionate about and want to pursue.
The Titans are expected to add an offensive lineman and a wide receiver in the draft, with an eye towards adding some depth to the defensive line.
With the draft starting on May 29, the Titans have three picks in the first round.
