Business Insider, Inc. / Business Insider – 1 hour ago A few years ago, a friend suggested that the world needed a new term for “the future” and that was when I stumbled across the term entrepreneur.
The word is used to describe people who have the ability to change the world, but have not yet made the necessary impact.
Entrepreneurship is a word that’s often associated with technology and the Internet, but it’s also a word used to define someone who is able to take risks and make a difference in their community.
Today, it’s being used to speak of a new generation of entrepreneurs and they’re all the rage.
A few months ago, we launched a new initiative to celebrate these remarkable entrepreneurs: the Entrepreneur Day, which celebrates the success of people who’ve already created and/or established businesses.
Each Entrepreneur day will feature a special entrepreneur-themed dinner with guests from the business world, and we’ll also be releasing a new video series to celebrate them.
And, we’re excited to be launching this program with a panel discussion with Mark Cuban.
Mark Cuban, the richest person in the world and a co-founder of Twitter, will share his personal experiences in the venture world and his thoughts on the entrepreneurial journey.
Today’s EntrepreneurDay is also a day to celebrate the most successful entrepreneurs of the past three decades.
The founders of Facebook, Twitter, Uber and more are all part of the Entrepreneurs Day panel, and this will be a chance for them to share their stories.
