Startup entrepreneur roller coasters are popping up across the U.S. and across Europe.
Now, some entrepreneurs are trying to capitalize on the trend with their own micro-entrepreneur roller coaster.
Recode has learned that a few small business owners are trying out an innovative new idea to raise money for their company.
One of them is Mark S. Schumacher, founder of Silicon Valley startup Rocket City Robotics.
S.C.R. Robotics has been building robots for a while.
One of the robots, called R.E.M., was sold to S.S.’s for $1.4 million.
The robots are equipped with sensors that help the company determine how far the robot can move, how quickly it can move and where it needs to move.

Schumacher saw the potential to make a small business a viable business, and so he and his co-founder started the Rocket City Micro Entrepreneur Roller Coaster Company in October.
The company has raised more than $100,000 so far and has a total of five robots, all in their second year of operation.
In the video above, Schumachers explains how the robot works, and explains how it can be adapted to be used in a number of different industries.
“We have the ability to be the go-to robotics provider for any type of manufacturing, manufacturing related or even for agriculture,” Schumakers said.
“The company was launched with a vision of helping to build a community in the Bay Area of California that would benefit from robotics, but also help those in need,” Schuemakers continued.
“So we wanted to help those who have gone through the challenges of having to find a job and have to go back to school to get their degrees.”
That’s why we’re able to make these robots that are small and simple and we’re willing to take on the challenge,” he added.
Rochester, New York-based entrepreneur Paul Cottrell also recently opened his own micro entrepreneur rollercoaster company, with a goal to create a ride that he could ride to raise funds for his startup.
Cottrell said he recently launched his micro-enviornment company in the hope of becoming an entrepreneur in his own right.
The company has already launched two rides, but it plans to expand its offerings.”
Our goal is to create an entirely new company and an entirely different business model and we’ll be able to be able, by creating this new company, to do a lot of things that we’ve been doing, and I think we can be really successful,” he said.
